- Musty (i.e Patchouli, Vetiver)
- Rich (i.e Rose, Ylang-Ylang, Clove)
- Sharp (i.e an excellent quality lemon oil)
- Sweet(i.e Rose or aniseed)
- Smooth (i.e Sandalwood, Rosewood)
