Stress level Test

This stress level test is for your own evaluation. If you show 2 or more of the following signs in each section then you may be under stress. The good news is that massage therapy definitely would release the tension and add a touch of serenity to your life.

How would you rate your stress level at present on a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the lowest)?

PHYSICAL SIGNS

Do you experience any of the following symptoms?

  • Muscle tension
  • Nail biting
  • Sweating
  • Sexual dysfunctions
  • Fatigue/tiredness/exhaustion
  • Bowel abnormalities
  • Red skin blotches, flusches
  • Twitching of hands/legs/face
  • Foot or leg aches
  • Lack of co-ordination/clumsiness
  • Breathlessness or palpitations
  • Restlessness
  • Insomnia
  • Headaches/migraine
  • Dry mouth
  • Lack of appetite
  • Shaking
  • Increased breathing rates
  • Stomack/cramps
  • Nausea

If you show 2 or more of the physical signs, you that you are showing stress symptoms.

BEHAVIOURAL SIGNS

Do you show any of the following symptoms?

  • Do you want to stay in more than usual?
  • Do you overeat?
  • Do you drink more than usual?
  • Do you go without food?
  • Do you smoke more than usual?
  • Are you awake early
  • Do you find it difficult to manage your time effectively?
  • Do you have temper outbursts?

If you show 2 or more of the behavioural signs, you that you are definitely showing stress symptoms.

PSYCHOLOGICAL SIGNS

Do you feel any of the following symptoms?

  • Do you block positive emotions or experiences?
  • Do you have panic attack?
  • Do you lack concentration?
  • Do you get confused and feel unable to cope?
  • Do you frequently want to cry?
  • Do you wish to escape or run away?
  • Do you show sexual disinterest?
  • Are you indecisive and show apathy?
  • Do you feel isolated or rejected?
  • Do you feel low self esteem and lack of self love?

If you show 3 or more of the phychological signs, you are under stress and getting regular massages would lower your negative stress level.
